- The Pacific Northwest Boxer Club IS ON FACEBOOK!
The Pacific Northwest Boxer Club (PNBC) is a member club of the American Boxer Club (ABC) and the American Kennel Club (AKC) headquartered in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. Founded in the 1950s, PNBC members abide by ABC’s Code of Ethics and the AKC Code of Sportsmanship.
Member meetings are held monthly. In addition to members, the general public is welcomed and encouraged to attend. Informational programs that relate to the Boxer and canines are presented as scheduling allows. The Club holds two Specialty /Sweepstakes/Junior Showmanship events each year, usually in August. When ABC Regional Specialty Clusters are scheduled in the Northwest region, PNBC has actively participated in the planning and execution of the “Regional” as host club or co-host with our closest Boxer clubs in the area (Oregon and Spokane). Most recently, PNBC was the host club of the 2018 ABC Regional Cluster held in Olympia WA.
In addition to exhibition events, the club participates in the stimulation and extension of public interest in the Boxer. When offered at various all-breed shows in the area, PNBC will participate in “Meet The Breed” and “Educational Booth” events to offer hands-on public information and education about the Boxer. PNBC will often partner with local Boxer Rescue organizations in this endeavor to present a total picture of breed, from the “fancy” to the rescue and rehoming of Boxers as pets.
PNBC strives to promote and encourage quality in the breeding of purebred Boxers.
PNBC membership is open to all persons who are in good standing with the AKC and ABC and who subscribe to the purposes of the club. While membership is unrestricted as to residence, the Club’s primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in the immediate region.
